MATH 317: Linear Algebra

How to Search

The journals and databases listed are good options for you to search for your scholarly article. After accessing the journal, in the "search in this journal"  type "linear algebra" (using quotes will help narrow the search) AND the academic discipline that interests you. For examples "linear algebra" AND sports.

If we do not have access to an article in our collection, please submit an interlibrary loan request. Science Direct article requests will be filled quickly if submitted on a weekday. Other articles could take anywhere from one to four days for the request to be filled.

Linear Algebra Journals

Numerical Linear Algebra with Applications addresses developing, analyzing and applying linear algebra algorithms for solving problems arising in multilinear (tensor) algebra, in statistics, and deterministic and stochastic modelling of algebra.

Linear Algebra and its Applications  is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles that give significant applications of matrix theory or linear algebra to other branches of mathematics and to other sciences. The Open Archives are free to read and articles can be downloaded 48 months after publication. Current article requests can be submitted through Science Direct.

Advances in Applied Mathematics is interdisciplinary in its coverage and publishes original and survey articles on rigorous methods and results in applied mathematics. The Open Archives are free 48 months after publication. Current article requests can be submitted through Science Direct. (Please note that not all articles are connected to linear algebra.)

The Electronic Journal of Linear Algebra: ELA is a publication that focuses on matrix analysis and the various aspects of linear alebra and its applications.

SIAM: Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics publishes multiple journals that are leading sources of knowledge for the world's applied mathematics and computational science communities. (Please note that not all articles are connected to linear algebra.)
